Psalm 46:1

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).”

Lord, this morning I lift up _____. I pray that she can see you as her refuge and strength. May she be able to take comfort and encouragement in your protection. May she sense your ever-present power working in and through her. Please be that ever-present hep for her in trouble. She doesn’t seek trouble. And normally, it doesn’t even phase her. But there are certain times that trouble seems to seek her out. Maybe it’s in combination with a new ailment, maybe it’s due to something she read, or maybe it’s just in the middle of the night, in the absolute stillness and darkness. Lord, in all those times, please inhabit her thoughts. May she know that she could travel to the ends of the earth and you would still be there. May she truly rest in your care for her.
