Psalm 118:5-7

5) When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place. 6) The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? 7) The Lord is with me; he is my helper. I look in triumph on my enemies.”

Lord, today I lift up ____. Father, when she is hard-pressed, please give her release. If she cries out to you in the night, please hear her voice as if you’re right there in the same room as she is. Bring her into a spacious place. Be with her. May she feel your presence. May she never be afraid, ever again. Whether a “mere mortal” spoke words to her that placed doubt in her head, or whether she heard a rumor, or an example that put fear in her heart, may she realize that nothing can shake her. Lord, please be present with her. Be her helper. May she look toward ALL the things that would challenge her, knowing she has confidence in you… knowing she is already in triumph over all those hurdles.
