Finding Calm to Quiet One’s Soul

Dear Lord, today I lift up ____. Thank You for the calm and quiet you promise is accessible to her even in the middle of the chaos. God, she often feels that it would be impossible to find that calm when her life is spinning out of control. Help her, please, to remember that when she feels overwhelmed by what she can’t predict or plan, that You already know what will play out and are with her through the process. Help her, Lord, to trust You. Steady her mind and heart on Your promises. Help her to care for her body in the way it needs so that her mind can embrace Your Truth more easily.
