Matthew 11:28-30

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Lord, today I lift up ____. I pray that when she comes to you, you would receive her. We know you will. You’ve promised that, for those who are weary and burdened, you will give them rest. Please give ___ rest right now, just as you’ve promised. May she take your yoke as the only weight on her shoulders. Please remove all other burdens for her. She has always loved learning from you. Please teach her now. She knows you are gentle. Help her to learn what it means for you to be humble in heart. Please reveal to her the path to finding rest for her soul. You have promised that your yoke is easy and that your burden is light. Help her process the other burdens she sometimes feels, whether those be medical, familial, or work-related. Lift her soul please, Lord.
