Lighten the Load, Jesus

Lord Jesus, today I lift up ____. She sometimes tries to carry extra burdens that she shouldn’t have to bear. Sometimes she worries whether or not she has sin disabling my heart. Sometimes she feels guilt when she shouldn’t have to do so. She feels anxiety over things she can’t control. It lays siege to her soul. Sometimes she can’t sleep and therefore feels worn out. Sometimes, frankly, she cannot continue on her own. So Lord, right now, I come to You on her behalf. We are taking you at Your word, Lord. Would you please partner with her and take her load? She is ready for her burden to be lightened and her heart to find rest.

In the mighty name of Jesus I pray,
