A Prayer for Calm

Lord, you know ____. You made her. You love her. Please meet her where she is in this moment. You knew she’d be exactly where she is. Please calm her churning insides and my spinning mind and her blown-up fear. Please bring her completely tranquil trees. Heal her hurts. Use her anxiety somehow. Change it. Instead of begging for something specific for her, I pray she can give herself totally to You. Make her aware somehow of what you might want to do through her and in her. Thank you for understanding her when no one else does and loving her anyway.
In Jesus’ powerful Name,
Amen.
