Is 41:8-14

8 “But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend, 9) I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. 10) So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 11) “All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. 12) Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. 13) For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. 14) Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you,” declares the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Dear Lord, today I lift up ____. She adores the fact that you have called her just like you called Israel. Meanwhile, she has called herself your servant, a descendant of Jacob and Abraham. You have called Abraham your friend. She loves considering herself your friend, just like Abraham. Even though she is from a far corner of the earth (compared to the land where Abraham lived), she loves the concept that you have still called her too. She has heard your voice, when you said, “You are my servant.” She is at your beck and call, Lord. She is your handmaiden. She adores the idea that you might have chosen her. It’s too amazing. She is sobered by the fact that you have not rejected her. She is so humbled. So according too all this, please take away her fears. Because we know that you are with her. Please never let her be dismayed again, because you are her God. Please strengthen her just as you’ve promised. Help her. Uphold her. Though storms of fear and anxiety might rage around her, may she trust in your power. May those storms be ashamed and disgraced. May they be as nothing and perish. Lord, please remove from her presence any source of anxiety. Or, if you choose not to remove it, please strengthen her heart so it would be as if they were vanished into thin air. For you are her God. Please take her by her right hand and speak to her. Assure her that she need not fear, Lord. Please, speak to her in some way and say, simply, “I will help you.” Please Lord. Remove all fear from her heart. May she realize that you are so grand and awesome — there is nothing greater than you. So please, calm her heart. Make her trees tranquil. May she be completely overwhelmed only by the fact that it is God, Himself, who is helping her. She counts you as her Lord. Please also be her redeemer. She considers you the Holy One. Please be her God.

In the mighty name of Jesus,

Amen
