Deuteronomy 31:6

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).”

Lord, today I lift up ___. She knows in her head that you have told her to be strong and courageous. But just knowing it in her head isn’t enough to ward off attacks from the evil one. She also has to know it in her heart. Please help her with that part. Please give her strength and courage without measure. May she never experience nagging fear. May she never sense terror again because she knows in her heart that you are with her… that you God before her, and that the battle is already won — and you are the victor. Pleaes reassure her of your constant presence with her. May she understand that I’m pleading with you for strength for her right now at this very moment. So in all this and in all other moments, whether she wakes up at 2am in the morning or whether an anxious thought seeks to terrorize her in the middle of the afternoon, please empower her to say, “We’ve got this. I know we do.”
