A Prayer for Peace and Relief

Lord, today I pray that You would help ____ exchange her attempts at trying to solve life’s toughest problems for Your perfect peace. I pray that You would give her wisdom in her decisions, and use them to bring a harvest of righteousness in her life. May she choose to trust You and Your peace as her guard. Teach her to cast all her anxiety on You, because she really does know that You care for her.

Lord, sometimes it feels like, even if she heard these words, she would deny that she ever feels stress. But then, the next time someone put a doubt in her head about her health or her future, she’d be wondering if it might happen to her. Lord, please transform that vulnerable heart — which can seem so strong and trough one moment then cave in to worry in another moment — and change her into a woman who chases only after you.

In the mighty name of Jesus I pray,
