1 John 4:18

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love (1 John 4:18).”

Lord, today I lift up ____. She cares so much for others. Would you please surround her with your loving arms in such a way that she completely trusts you for the present — and for the future too. My prayer is that your protection would shield her from all the fiery darts of the enemy so that she would have no fear whatsoever. May your love win out over everything — and especially fear. Lord, we know that people often fear punishment. But you have promised grace, mercy, and love for the ages. With the coming of your Son, you sealed redemption once and for all. May she sense your perfect love and may it completely free her of anxiety of all kinds – whether that be fear of an ailment, fear of death, or even fear from guilt for anything past, present or future. My prayer is that this love from you would help her step into a new world… a world made perfect in your love.
