Several months ago, a missions minister said this was his best resource to recommend in 2022: Sacred Rhythms: Arranging Our Lives for Spiritual Transformation by Ruth Barton.  Winner of the 2006 Logos Book Award,  this book boasts that Barton hearkens back to early monasticism’s “rule of life,” which gave daily space for practicing spiritual disciplines.
