We are half way through 2025! Whether you’re heading out on a short-term mission trip or traveling long-term, we’d love to hear what’s making your journey (or your sleep) smoother this year. Is it a new app, a packing hack, a favorite piece of gear, or a travel habit that’s changed the game for you? 10) What’s Your Favorite Travel Tip for 2025?

If you travel a lot (and especially internationally) get a credit card that will reward you airfare purchases, give you free lounge access, include excellent rental car insurance coverage, and give you TSA and Global Entry.
If your airline will give you credit for airfare purchases, don’t buy airfare insurance because you’ll be able to use the money on subsequent travel.
Buy a seat head strap, pillow, sleeping mask, and ear plugs.
Try to NOT start a trip exhausted.
Only pack about 4-5 days worth of stuff for most trips, and then do or pay to do laundry. It’s way less hassle to travel with less stuff.
Keep a melatonin handy. On transcontinental trips take one (maybe with your meal) and then get what sleep you can.
If you’re a large person, and if flying is super uncomfortable, consider paying for an exit row. It might make your first day in-country more functional, which mathematically is probably worthwhile considering the cost of the overall trip.
When you sit down ask the person beside you, “Are you going home or leaving home?” I’ve had dozens of Gospel conversations following that friendly gesture through the years.
These are great suggestions, KK! Thank you!
