“Everyone is on a spiritual journey. You can come alongside another person on their journey by exploring where they’ve been, where they are now and where they’re headed. Asking questions and genuinely listening can open a door to significant spiritual conversations about Jesus.” Has anyone used Soularium by Cru? These 50, 4×6 original photographic images and five simple questions help you to enter and explore the lives of people around you. I recently used this resource with a group of college seniors at the start of a new school. I was coming in as a new leader who didn’t know the girls, where they had been before, or what things were on their heart now. Using the images to answer a couple of basic questions about their feelings toward the new semester or toward God and life, our conversations headed into a much deeper space than just surface level “get-to-know-you” topics and the whole group loved it! They had comments after about how useful the pictures were and how much they enjoyed that approach to sharing. I’d definitely recommend the resource and will be using it again in all different settings!
I’m interested to try these with a youth group but the resource is a bit expensive with shipping for 1 time use. Does anyone know of coupon codes?
