1) SO WHAT’S UP WITH JOSHUA PROJECT II? — Remember AD2000’s thrust to list the world’s least reached peoples, the Joshua Project 2000 list of unreached peoples? Remember how the JP2000 list spun out into its own under the banner of “Joshua Project II”? Well recently, their lease ran out, so to speak, and their future was, for a while, a bit uncertain. But thanks goes to World Help for adopting the people with the adoption list! World Help, an international ministry based in Forest, Virginia, has taken Joshua Project II into its fold. Joshua Project II is a continuation and expansion of the original Joshua Project initiative created by the AD2000 & Beyond Movement. It is an effort to “highlight least-reached peoples through information sharing and networking.” World Help is actively involved in facilitating church-planting movements, leadership training and Bible distribution among the least-reached peoples. Three cheers for their vision, insight, and courage to take risks for the sake of the lost! World Help and Joshua Project II will soon release a comprehensive unreached / least-reached ethno-cultural list of all people groups, regardless of size. This list, planned for release in the spring of 2002, will help provide a Great Commission blueprint or roadmap, revealing the extent of the unfinished task of world evangelism.

3) PERSONAL SUPPORT RAISING TRAINING “BOOT CAMP” — On August 14th and 15th ACMC and the Finishers Project are sponsoring a Personal Support Raising Boot Camp preceding their annual national conference at the downtown Atlanta Sheraton for any missionary or missions related personnel. If you or someone in your ministry or church: 1) Needs to raise their support, 2) Is trying to get to 100% budget or, 3) Has never been properly trained in support raising – this seminar is for you. The 24 hours of required pre-seminar preparation combined with the two days of intense in class training gives you the essential tools to get to your assignment quickly- and fully funded! This Boot Camp will be led by Steve Shadrach, founder of Student Mobilization and President of The BodyBuilders. He has been training Christian workers in support raising for the last 17 years. 4) RADIO PROGRAMMING FOR HEALTH PROMOTION — Check out this training course in the use of radio programming for health promotion and social development in Perth, Western Australia, June 2002. Organizers will equip participants to use radio programming as a communication medium in health and social development. They’ve designed the course for anyone currently involved (or intending to be involved) in social development, health education and the allied health professions. The course will run from 5-28 June 2002, as organized by Health Communication Resources (HCR) and the School of Public Health, Curtin University, Western Australia.
