2) CATCH ALL THE LATEST INFO ON DISTANCE LEARNING — Just send a note to: distance-learning@brigada.org and a 26K file will be emailed to your doorstep. Thanks to Justin for keeping his word! He’s prepared this material in answer to the Dec. 14th request, “Suppose you had a new recruit, eager to study, but kind of at a beginner level. Where could such a person receive training for evangelism, discipleship, and church-planting . . .especially via distance-learning curriculum (web- based preferred). Does it exist?” Thanks Justin!

4) PDA TO PRAY — Does anyone know of a PDA (Palm Pilot, Pocket PC… a hand held computer) program which helps a person pray for unreached people groups? YWAM publishes a yearly calendar prayer journal that lists unreached people groups to pray for on a daily basis. If you are aware of a way to keep track of and pray for unreached people groups on one’s hand-held computer, please email the information to Wayne at <wdecosta@foursquare.org>. We’ll ask Wayne to let us know how his study comes out. (Okay Wayne?)

7) CHURCH PLANTING MATERIALS NEEDED — The Barnabas Ministry in Poland is looking for materials that would help them launch a national church planting movement. Do you know of any web sites, ministries or resources on the practical aspects of starting a new church? Please share it with them and us! What they want is the experienced planters sharing the details of how to give vision, train, send, start, oversee and support financially new plants. They will be organizing seminars and will also need experienced speakers to teach and answer tough questions. Also they can arrange short or long term mission trips with the goal of establishing new churches. If you can help, send Jerry an e-mail at <jerry@barnaba.and.pl>.

10) WEB-WATCH: REACH THE NATIONS — The site,
http://www.reachthenations.org became officially active as of 2/3/02. This site contains missions resources, research related material, contact information, internship opportunity information, and a photo gallery of portraits of unreached people groups (photos are not to be used without permission). The group is currently in the process of choosing a publisher for its catalog of artistic photographs of tribal groups. Reports will be published on the site as the network of investigators compiles research information regarding specific unreached people groups. This site is expected to be a hub for ethnologic information as it relates to missions. This organizations approach to “network investigation” and information sharing is helping to fill a need for practical and academic information in support of reaching the unreached for Christ. Applications for the NCMO internship program are currently being accepted. The director of New Covenant Missions Organization can be contacted for comments at (860) 250-4792.</bsloan@oval.com></mijohnny@yahoo.com></tie@gati.wa.com></wdecosta@foursquare.org></bill@peopleraising.com>
