Whoa. Nobody. Then … raise your hand if you’ve ever trained in it. Yikes. Nobody again. Want to fix that? It’s easy. Our Member Care Coordinator (thanks Jenny) recently told us about a resilience course we can take *online* without having to miss a thing. No travel. No skipped meals. No dorms. Do it right from your den. It’s a course two-week online course designed to give you tools to understand and grow in resilience and to keep your life and ministry true to your calling. And it’ll only set you back $50 bucks or so. See it at…

Get the whole shooting match — the content, community, consultation, and connections you need to harden your armor. It could save you (and your church or org) a bundle when you don’t quit prematurely. Try it. Let is know what you think in a comment, afterward. We’d love to hear from you.
Here’s what one Brigada participant wrote about resilience:
HOW TO GAIN RESILIANCE
Anger and worry reveal areas of our heart we have not surrendered to God Do not love the world or anything in it. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 Here is what people who belong to this world do. They try to satisfy what their sinful desires want to do. They long for what their sinful eyes look at. They take pride in what they have and what they do. All of this comes from the world. None of it comes from the Father. 15 Do not love the world or anything in it. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 Here is what people who belong to this world do. Two important promises lead to resilience
We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. He
appointed them to be saved in keeping with his purpose. Romans 8:28 NIVR
You are tempted in the same way all other human beings are. God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted any more than you can take. But when you are tempted, God will give you a way out. Then you will be able to deal with it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 NIVJ
All things that happen are neutral, we attach meaning; even for those intended to hurt; a thankful heart. Sees beyond the circumstances to Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Give thanks no matter what happens. God wants you to thank him because you believe in Christ Jesus.19 Don’t try to stop what the Holy Spirit is doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:18-20 NIVR
It helps us see the much good that is happening, 4 Always be joyful because you belong to the Lord. I will say it again. Be joyful! 5 Let everyone know how gentle you are. The Lord is coming soon. 6 Don’t worry about anything. No matter what happens, tell God about everything. Ask and pray, and give thanks to him. 7 Then God’s peace will watch over your hearts and your minds. He will do this because you belong to Christ Jesus. God’s peace can never be completely understood;
I know what it’s like not to have what I need. I also know what it’s like to have more than I need. I have learned the secret of being content no matter what happens. I am content whether I am well fed or hungry. I am content whether I have more than enough or not enough. 13 I can do all this by the power of Christ. He gives me strength. Philippians 4:4-7,12,13 NIVJ
All things are neutral we attach meaning: more people come to faith watching how saints trsut God in suffering, than in health.
Like you I’ve never considered what I do as a job, I can care less about hours or wages, but a wise person learns their limits or burnout.
Blessings, I’m also finishing a response about no longer making cold calls because God does bring people to where discipleship is going on. Always be praying.
