A Brigada reader, who is a doctoral candidate in the Psychology Department at Liberty University, is conducting research as part of the requirements for a doctoral degree. The purpose of the research is to determine the prevalence of PTSD symptoms among missionary kids, to explore the prevalence of spiritual and religious struggles among MKs, and to examine the potential relationship between PTSD symptoms and spirituality among missionary kids. Participants must be 18 years of age or older, missionary kids who have lived overseas for a minimum of one year and must currently reside in the USA. Participants will be asked to take an anonymous, online survey. It should take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete the survey. Participation will be completely anonymous, and no personal, identifying information will be collected. Participants will be asked to share the survey link with other potential participants who meet the criteria for the study.
