In addition to reading through the Bible in a year (see Item #4 in this edition of Brigada), perhaps as we kick off a new year, now is a great time to resolve to improve (or start learning?) the language you’ve always wanted to master. Apps aren’t a perfect solution, but they’re better than nothing. And honestly, doing something is almost always better than doing nothing. So why not start with either Duolingo (https://www.duolingo.com/) or Fluent Forever (https://fluent-forever.com/). Just pick a language… any language (Duolingo can help you learn 25; Fluent Forever has a dozen choices)… because learning ANY language will always help you learn the next one.
