Have you been watching infection rates, hospitalizations, and Covid-19-related deaths? Why in the world are we having such a hard time beating this insane illness? Thanks to Justin Long for bubbling up this article in The Economist documenting a study which showed, conclusively, that odds of dying from Covid-19 essential double for those who are 8 years older than you are (https://www.economist.com/graphic-detail/2020/11/16/why-rich-countries-are-so-vulnerable-to-covid-19). Seems like in respect for our elders, we would want to slow this disease. How can this be stopped? What’s your opinion? Please click comment and help us understand.

In a secular Facebook group of which I am a member, I am sad to see that Christians are frequently mentioned as “those people who don’t care who dies of Covid as long as their own rights are not curtailed” – whereas historically, in times of disease or crisis it has been Christians who have had the reputation of being first to help and protect and give themselves sacrificially. May God give us grace.
That is indeed tragic, Betty Sue. I’m so sorry to hear that. I have to admit – I’ve seen and felt that way as well. Yikes.
