On behalf of a Brigada participant named Jenaya, we recently ask for peer reviews of prayer apps (https://brigada.org/2020/07/19_29513). Brigada participants responded! In the item, we mentioned several, plus, if you click “Read more,” we also list the apps and links others have no provided. Bottom line? In this item, we’ve summed it all up for you.

PrayVine — https://www.prayvine.org/ — It allows users to set up prayer groups. Participants can click a button to assure the prayer requester that someone definitely is praying. Members can write answers that are reflected back to the group. The amazing thing is that the inventor of this service is still doing it for free. (Note: We suggest that you send SOME kind of donation, depending on your use. $25 per year per group would probably add up, if we all would just take part.)

Unfortunately, our conclusion was — NONE Of the items we mentioned allowed Jenaya to do exactly what she wanted with her prayer chain. But, like we said, Brigada participants chipped in. You all suggested solutions like:

Praelude2020.com. It’s based on weekly prayer coupled with a monthly donation. The developers say a “free from donation” version is on the way.
