As global ambassadors for the King, it’s essential that are well-grounded and can answer questions about how we got here. That’s why we’re so thankful that a Brigada participant searched out resources on why we believe in a God who is creator and sustainer. He’s pulled together all the ministries, books, debates, speakers, scientists, videos, curriculum, podcasts, apps, dvds, audio, and more. See his findings at https://www.creationministryresources.com/.
Seems quite comprehensive. Appreciate different language sources. A lot of work done here. Thank you
It should be noted that this resource only covers sources which support a young-earth creationist apologetic. Other organizations which advocate for an old-earth creation narrative, such as Reasons to Believe (https://reasons.org/) are not included.
I’ve actually worked with them, all materials in two magazines are by PhD in field, many had their barriers drop after being confronted by the evidence. Have excellent videos, They have to be very careful before printing as critics will jump on any mistake
Carl who started it was a doctor who rejected all things spiritual, until his family decided to make fun a a spiritualist and invited them to there house. The next day his sister said look what I can do?and said shuffle a deck of cards. hold them up and I can name it.She went through all 52. That opened Carl to the “possiblity” there was a lot more to this world.
last century USA Military look all over the world to solve a problem with astrophysics – because time changes the faster we go, the satellites used for military use cold not give accurate feed back because their clocks ran at different ties (!!). The man they found was Dr. Harnett who made our GPSs possible. He also invented the atomic clock which was able to prove time slows bu putting a clock on a plane and flying around the world, when back it had ticked fewer times that the land based one(!)
The Laws of Physics demonstrate that flying faster than the speed of light is impossible. Just saying for those who would like the facts, contact them.
“He’s pulled together all the [X, Y, Z]” for God as creator and sustainer.
I’m sorry, I can’t agree with that. Along with a commenter above, I have to think the best engagement with the concepts of God as creator and sustainer coming FROM science (vs. denying science) would be from organizations like Reasons to Believe or Brigada (www.brigada.org). The latter was founded by Dr. Francis Collins, who headed the first project to map the human genome, and is now head of U.S. NIH.
Regardless, the presupposition of the post in combination with the lopsided contents of the website seems to be, if you don’t believe in an earth younger than 10,000 years old, you don’t believe in God as creator or sustainer. I disagree strongly.
Thanks for your input, Karl. We’ll gladly feature other sources here as people add them. Thanks for adding your voice to the conversation!
A very helpful book is “Creation or Evolution: Do We Have to Choose” by Denis Alexander, a strong evangelical Christian and top UK researcher: https://www.amazon.com/Creation-Evolution-Do-Have-Choose-ebook/dp/B00NTXV15I/ref=sr_1_1?crid=14C5JL7U26BLE&dchild=1&keywords=denis+alexander&qid=1592148140&sprefix=Denis+Alexan%2Caps%2C240&sr=8-1
