It’s time again to gather the best resources we can find for travel insurance. We’ve always been a fan of https://missionaryhealth.net/brigada/ but you might have found other options that compete favorably. (Note: This long-time friend sends a gift to Brigada for every policy sold. To be fair to you, we always want to keep aware of other options?) If so, would you please comment your favorite? (Thanks for asking, JED!)

Check out http://www.MissionTripInsurance.com . They are an organization whose members have all been involved in missions in one aspect or another, so they have heart for missions but also have decades of international insurance experience. They also run another site – http://www.TripInsuranceConsultants.com which handles travel insurance plans, including plans that would offer coverage for cancellation due to Coronavirus concerns, fears and issues!
Very helpful, Tammy! Thanks!
Tammy beat me to the punch, I was going to recommend MissionTripInsurance.com They have been excellent for us and helped us worked through a crisis on the field with heart attack in rural village in SE Asia.
I personally use NationWide Yearly Travel insurance for myself. Great rates, including overseas medical, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, etc.
In the past I’ve used Allianz yearly policies but they refused to help me when a family member died while overseas, to get me a flight home. They had no way of telling me if anything was covered, no assistance, etc. Spent 3 hours on the phone arguing with people. They wouldn’t even confirm what coverage I had. I consider Allianz a scam.
We’ll try it, D Thomas!
But D Thomas, to get the airline ticket refunded, we’d have to buy the “plus” coverage, and then, it has annual limits, right?
