One of our Brigada participants wrote this past week to tell us he is creating a photo collage of Arabic faces to be used at his church’s outreach display. He wrote, “Pictures that I have found online at the usual places like iStock are just OK. Any suggestions for other places to look?” How would you answer? Well… I thought “Arabic” meant the language. The noun for a person is “Arab”… and isn’t “Arab” also an adjective? as in: “Arab faces”… No?? Call me confused, I guess.
Joshua Project is always looking for good images of specific people groups. Our search often takes us to the image searches at Google, Yahoo or Bing. Look for Creative Commons images there. We also look for CC images at places such as Flickr.
