There are *so* many of these… on PC, Mac, and PDA… not to mention that new gizmo… what’s it called? Ipad or something like that? :-) So here’s your chance to sound off. What’s *your* favorite Bible reading program on *your* favorite device? I’ve been trying “Glo” for some time. See it at…
It’s kinda cool. But maybe it’s just my inner Mac-wanna-be self, come Bible-study-on-PC, you know? :-) Either way… tell us your favorite. Just click comment below:
I use Accordance on my Mac (love it!) and OliveTree on my iPhone (love it too!).

I love BibleWorks 8.0 and Logos 4.0 for serious study.
I’ve used Glo for a year or so for family devotions but it tends to be very buggy. It has good graphics and videos in the NT, especially the Gospels but tends to be sparse in the historical books of the OT
check out http://netbible.org the best online bible study environment from http://www.bible.org the home of the NET Bible and over 10,000 bible studies and articles.. all for free when used in ministry and personal study.
I have used Online Bible on the Mac for many years. On the iPhone (used as an iPod Touch), I use Holy Bible by Paul Avery because I can do everything offline — I like the YouVersion Bible app but much of its functionality requires all the time online access which I don’t have.
On my iPod Touch I use Mantis in multiple Bible versions every day —read it more than any paper-based Bible— and make good use of the highlighting and note-taking features. Fully featured for offline use, which I consider a must-have feature. I especially like the ability to check off passages I’ve read in the thru-the-Bible reading plan, and to go immediately to where I’m currently at in the reading plan.
On my MacBook Pro laptop I use Accordance with a large number of Bibles and commentaries. Relatively easy to use for everything from the simple to the more complex, though the interface takes a bit of getting used to. To some degree that’s the trade-off of power for ease-of-use.
We Accordance on our Mac each day as we develop STM team member Devotional Bible Studies and we love it. It is probably the best and most well accepted even in scholarly circles. It is from Oaktree software. Check it out. There is also a pc version of this as well.
Haven’t used any but was wanting to find something…so thanks for the info.
