Interested in giving your ministry or Christian web service a boost? One new friend recently wrote, “Doug I just wanted to show you how effective your newsletter is. [This writer attached a jpg of the web stats to which he was referring.] More important than the spike in visits as noted by the graph on my google analytics page is that your item resulted in a tangible increase in our services. … Within a few short days of your item, we figure that about 300 new people visited our site. Thanks!” Another friend wrote, “When I came into the office, there were oncoming faxes strewn all over the floor and our machine was out of paper. The memory was maxed out. My only regret is that I was totally unprepared for the volume of response from Brigada’s readership!”
The best part about Brigada is that we don’t charge advertising or sponsorship fees! Instead, we function on a model that is totally dependent on donations. In 2008, we’re thankful for the fact that great friends have sent $6,113. However, by Dec. 31, 2008, we have to raise $17,150. If you’ve ever benefited from a Brigada item, would you ask your church to send a one-time gift to help make up this ground? If just 22 churches sent a $500 each, we’d be completely done and wouldn’t mention finances throughout the remainder of the year.
IMPORTANT: Would you consider approaching your church to ask if they would commit to trying to find room for a $500 one-time gift by Dec. 31, 2008? If so, this entire year will be taken care of ever-so-simply!
