  2. LEARN TO HELP THE POOR — Learn how to help the poor through a distance learning course on Christian Microenterprise Development. The course runs Jan. 13-March 7, 2003, with application deadline being Nov. 1 for students overseas, Nov. 30 for students in the US. The cost is $250, which includes all materials.   3. HIMALAYAN FOCUS SCHOOL OF FRONTIER MISSIONS — Have a heart for the lost of the Himalaya? Join Youth With A Mission Cimarron for an intense time of equipping to reach the Himalayan nations; Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, N.India, & NE Pakistan. Cross cultural mission skills & effective tools for reaching Hindu, Buddhist, & Muslim peoples of the world’s rooftop will be imparted. The course will involve a 3-month lecture phase in western Colorado, starting January 2003. This will be followed by a two year placement in the Himalayan region, or serving as support staff to those on the field. A YWAM DTS or CDTS is prerequisite.   6. SCHOOL OF FRONTIER MISSIONS IN JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA — YWAM Jacksonville is offering a School of Frontier Missions starting January 12th. The SOFM is an intensive Christian training course beginning with a 12-week lecture/teaching phase followed by field opportunities to apply what you have learned.
