MISSIONS ENCOURAGEMENT VIA EMAIL
Each week the prayer and poem list is sent out with 3 to 5 missions prayer requests and a recent poem written by the list moderator, Mert. If you would like people on a non- secure list to pray for an unreached people group or your cross- cultural ministry or would like to pray for such concerns, you are invited to send a blank email to pr*******************@*******dy.org. One reader said, “In terms of poetry and missions, Mert is the best I’ve run across!” For a number of sampler email files with missions related poems, send a “Request for Missions Poems” to Mert at me*****@*******dy.org. CROSS-COMMISSIONING
The sister Cross and Commission list consists of a 4-7K reflection on a Biblical passage related to the apostolic themes of Luke 24:44-49. Beginning in June, these reflections will begin a chronological trek from Genesis to Revelation. If you would like to apply more of the Biblical wisdom to your part in God’s global mission, you are invited to subscribe by sending a blank email to cr************************@*******dy.org. All services are totally free of charge. REDEMPTIVE ANALOGIES
SONGS TO THE CREATOR
This CD is a mixture of original traditional style songs of the Coastal People of the Pacific Northwest, Plains First Nations Flute, and blended contemporary/First Nations music. The prayer of the producers, Songs to the Creator Indigenous Music Program, A Division of NAIM Ministries, is that the music will touch the heart of the listener and draw them closer to the Creator God. It’s a very enjoyable sound of worship.
Like Jonathon Maracle’s recent release, Rise Up Mighty Warrior, this is a wonderful example of how lovers of Jesus can use the traditional sounds and styles of First Nations people to create beautiful songs of praise and worship to Jesus Christ. You can order your copy of Songs to the Creator from Wiconi International by emailing wa****@*ol.com.

Emphasis is placed on items relating to unreached peoples and challenges faced by those reaching them cross-culturally.
PLEASE DON’T SUBSCRIBE US TO YOUR LIST — It’s always better to ask before manually force-adding anyone to your list-serve or mailing list. Recently, tons of well-meaning people have been subscribing Doug to their lists. Since he often travels overseas, he doesn’t join many of those, for obvious reasons (like being charged big-time for overseas access). So as a general rule, please don’t bulk-mail us! See the note above if you’d like to submit items for Brigada Today. Thanks for understanding. Bottom line: We will never create Brigada Today items from bulk mail. Bulk mail gets deleted immediately — sorry. Nothing personal. We suggest you apply the same standard to everyone. Ask first!
WARNING ABOUT FORWARDING EMAILS — Please, before forwarding any kind of request (even if it says “please send this to all your friends”), please check to make sure it has a VERIFIABLE ORIGIN, a VERIFIABLE PURPOSE, and a VERIFIABLE CLOSURE (OPC). By following this simple approach, many “email viruses” could be nipped in the bud… at least in the Brigada family. More information about the full Brigada OPC protocol is available. Thank you.
