We recently asked what type of outreach do you have to international students in your area. Jen replied that a university in Indiana is gearing up for the fall. Do you live near West Lafayette, Indiana? If so, they need your help!
The campus in Indiana will be abuzz in August when over 2,500 new international students will be arriving to study on the campus. Consider the impact many of these students will have when they will return home as future leaders in their fields. And you can play a part! Just contact friendship@purdue.edu. You can also register to be a host of international students. Hosts will be given their assigned students (2-4) for the semester. The hosts and students will meet at a kick-off event. After the kick-off, hosts will invite students over to their homes for 2 meals throughout the remainder of the semester To participate go to https://form.jotform.com/220445956937063. They also have an outreach to Chinese students. Read more at https://romanin.wordpress.com/china-outreach-ministries/ or https://www.chinaoutreach.org/about/about.html
Please comment with your favorite outreach to your students.
I work with International Students Inc. (ISI for short). We are a non profit Christian ministry who reaches international college students on over 600 campuses nationwide. We always need volunteers where I am in Wichita, KS!
International Students, Inc. (ISI) has developed two apps for reaching and discipling international students. Go to “God’s Story” (Android store) or “God Story” (Apple store) to download the app for use with seekers, or download the “M28 Global Discipleship” app in either store – for use in training/launching disciple-making ministry.
