Brigada began in January, 1995, with a simple dream: How do we connect like-minded folks wishing to reach out to the same unreached people groups for the sake of the Good News? Along the way, various entities have come and gone with that hope. We certainly have more data than ever to learn ABOUT the unreached. But it all comes down to this: suppose a guy named Adam comes to you (as one did to us this past week), asking how he might learn about and link up with outreaches in Comoros. Where would you send him? This guy can do English or French and he’s working through a grad program at Liberty University. Obviously, security has been an issue throughout the 20-year quest… but I just wish we were farther along than we are right now. If you have ideas (about either the overall quest — or about Comorian peoples), please click Comment below the web version of this item. Let’s see if we can get Adam some answers, recognizing or creating once and for all the infrastructure for the future, complete with security and vetting. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

One of my fellow staff members here in YWAM Muizenberg (near Cape Town, South Africa) is a MBB from the Comoros. Here’s his FB page:

Several years ago in a missions program I had to choose a country (limited/restricted access) to do a report on (people groups, culture(s), daily living, etc.). I chose the Comoros…very fascinating. There are thousands of them in Marseille, France.
I worked in comoros for 10 years. email me….

Send me Adam’s contact info. I’ll see if I can connect him with some folks who can give him insider information — bob(zero-one)(at)mac(dot)com
I agree with the comment that Marsielle, France has the largest concentration.
Adam is welcome to contact me as well and I could try to hook him up with a friend of a friend that I know is working among this people.
