Just when we thought AI couldn’t get any better (haha — did any of us really think that?), a start-up programming company named “Captions” has rolled out a video-translating-and-dubbing app this week. Would you want to help us test it together? See this demo video for the vision: If you’re willing to help test, please read on. First, this just rolled out this week. We registered immediately – and yet we’re already more than 10,000 behind in the line. We’re sure there will be some cost involved – but, at least we expect it to be less than the $59/month for the “Video Translator” app that we tried last. This new app is smart-phone-based (rather than web-based) and thus will use a vertical (landscape) format frame. This should make the mechanics more approachable and produce a more natural “reel” or “TikTok” look in the videos you produce. What’s not to like about sharing your M2M invitation in multiple languages?
Can you help us test it? If so, please try downloading the app, LipDub, from your smartphone’s app store. Once you’ve experimented and made your trial video, translation, and lip dub, please post a link to your video in the comments below, along with your quick review. Surely *one* of us will gain access soon. Imagine the possibilities for Media-to-movement teams! You’ll be able to post online messages like “three circles” life conversation or a testimony about the resurrection in whichever language you like! Thanks in advance for your review!
