Suppose a missionary named John (this is his real name, by the way) asked you, as he did us this past week, for the best way to write home to his mother. How would you answer? He shared that the last letter he air-mailed from his mission field took some 60 days to arrive. Ouch. That’s enough for his mother to begin to wonder if he still cares. What’s the latest service you’d recommend that would allow him to upload the text to a website, click a button, then the vendor sends the letter to his mother from within the USA? Bam. If you can help John (and the rest of us), just click “Comment” after the online version of this item. Thanks in advance, from John. :-)
We have used http://www.prayerletters.com/ for a number of years. We send one, two or up to 300.00 Always been the very best of service for us.
I have personally used prayerletters.com and have been VERY pleased with their quick and competent service. Highly recommended, even for just one newsletter, as well as the same letter to your whole mailing list.
Touchnote.com is great!
you can easily use click2mail.com we use them for all our mailings big and small even just one letter if it needs to get there quick
We use http://www.touchnote.com/ we can send a photo postcard for about $2 including them printing a photo of ours and mailing it for us…we just include a msg on the back. They also do greeting cards. It is a quick and easy way to get photos and msg to those we love overseas. These are mailed right from USA or England depending on where it will be delivered so time is quite quick.
MissionAssist (formerly Wycliffe Associates UK) offers this service. Mainly it is people in the UK who use this particular service but we will be glad to help people in the US in any way possible
When we have letters to send to people who do not have email, we send them (via email) to a mutual friend who gladly prints it out and mails it to that person. I think if John wants a more personal touch, it would be nicer to have it come from a relative or someone from his home church.
Use this website to compare several different programs to send an email and get it made into snail mail. http://www.labnol.org/internet/email/send-postal-letters-on-internet-via-email/7097/.
Send Out Cards is a great way to send personal cards to anyone in the U.S. and also outside of the U.S. I have a monthly account so I can send up to 8 or so cards using my own pictures per month. Here’s the info:
The first month is about $15.00 which includes $5 for postage. You will be able to send 7-10 cards depending on the use of your own pictures. Go to this website http://www.sendoutcards.com/130000 and click on Join Now and follow the prompts. You will want to choose the $9.80 per month subscription which will give you the 7-10 card points. There is no long term commitment and you can cancel anytime.
We have used Amazingmail to send cards. They are quick and you can use your own photos.
