I certainly don’t want to take away from any possible Brigada support, but there probably needs to be some clarification here. This is a filter bottle, not a purifying bottle. There is technically a difference. They are two different standards of filtration. This is why their site says nothing about “purification” only “filtration” (they couldn’t legally call it a purifier). It may do what you need it to do in most settings, but to obtain “purified” status, you will need to fork over a little over twice as much money.
Just a personal experience from me….we ordered a filter and some accessories worth over $200 from 911water on August 1. They billed our credit card on August 2. We still have not received anything as of August 26. We have made attempts to contact them via phone and email and have only received 2 brief emails. The latest was today. Both of them have said they are “waiting for a tracking number so they can send our order out.” If they are legitimate, it is certainly not good business practices.

Thank you for your healthy skepticism about the claim of purification in a bottle. My friend who owns 911Water is encouraging the manufacturer to seek additional testing to certify what the testing has already demonstrated—that this filter provides actual purification according to the technical definition of that term.

Regarding my previous post…We did finally receive our Berkey water filter a little over a month after we were billed for it. The product itself is everything they say it is. It works great. Robby is a friend of the owner of 911Water and is like a sales rep for water filters. He was very quick to give the rebate to us as well as to Brigada. My suggestion is to deal with Robby if you have any questions or concerns. He is very knowledgeable about the product and was much better at helping us with our concerns than trying to communicate directly with 911Water.
