  1. SHARPEN YOUR INTERPERSONAL SKILLS — From Oct 7-11, 2002 in Toronto, Canada, sharpen *your* interpersonal skills in a course sponsored by MissionPrep/TIM Centre. This workshop for missionaries is taught by Ken Williams’ International Training Partners and is intended for mission personnel wanting to increase their knowledge, attitudes and skills in relating to others. A 216 page workbook is provided, in which each topic includes key articles, a Bible study, a self-assessment, and opportunities for growth. The Facilitator is Matthew Neigh. For more information email <micanada@interlog.com> or call Robert 416-606-9757. </micanada@interlog.com>

  3. MUSIC IN MISSIONS SUMMARY — Our compiler, Phil, heard from almost 20 people from all over the world concerning his inquiry about the use of music in missions. … Phil’s address is <pperrin@gardner-webb.edu> and his website is http://gardner-webb.edu/intra/pperrin/musicinmissions.htm </pperrin@gardner-webb.edu>

  4. WE KNEW IT FIRST! — The Evangelical Christian Publishers’ Association has recognized what missions groups have always known – Operation World is one of the best books around! The ECPA awarded both Operation World and the family edition “Window on the World” with the Gold Medallion Award for Excellence on July 13 in Anaheim, California. This indicates clearly that people are becoming increasingly missions- minded and are recognizing the value of intercession for the nations!

Gabriel Resources offers missions discounts on both books, OW CD-Roms, maps & prayer calendars. Email Ellen Graf or call 1-866-732-6657 (toll-free, USA) / 706-554-1594 to order and for more information. </ellen@omlit.om.org>

Keep track of all your ministry supporters using the RDMA (Resource Development Ministry Application) version 2.0. Written for missionaries, this software helps you keep track of all basic information, communication, and financial transactions for each church or individual that helps support you. According to the author, it also provides an easy way to print out mailing labels for selected groups. Go to http://members.truepath.com/rdma to find out more information and download it.
