I tried it a few years back, so I don’t know if they have fixed the problem I had. Back then, I found the app inconvinent as it didn’t allow me to save my family’s information on the app or phone to be submitted after I arrived. (I was not allowed to submit my information prior to one hour before my plane arrived.) Which meant I either had to walk and type in my family’s information or find a place to stop and enter the information after I arrived; which sort of defeats the whole purpose of saving times. With the paper form, I could fill it all out while I’m on the plane with nothing to do, allowing me to go straight to passport control after I arrived.
