Waha is the Arabic word for Oasis. The makers of the WAHA app truly hope that it can become an oasis of truth and love. Waha apparently combines together the best of story sets, DBS topics, Disciple-making Movement (DMM) strategies, and more, putting them together into a simple format that guides you from one day/meeting to the next. I (Doug) am hoping to try out this app in the three-thirds group (discovery Bible study) that I facilitate on Wednesday nights. Want to try it out with me? Just go to the app store (wherever you download your apps) and search for “Waha,” then choose a language and the time that your group will meet. I think I has a lot of promise. We serve in West Africa and this could be very helpful for those going to Unreached people groups where they can’t speak the local language. The process of how to get a creation to Christ story set that is already recorded onto the Waha site is unclear however.
