Memrise offers fun and informative courses on a number of languages including Spanish, French, Japanese, German, Korean and Russian. The app uses a mixture of quizzes, images and video clips from native speakers to help you learn and remember everyday words and phrases.  It’s free.


Busuu is the app for you if you’re really serious about learning more than the basics. Busuu offers full courses in 12 languages, covering speaking, reading and writing. This app offers a unique social feature where you can practice your writing and speaking skills with native speakers.
