Is anybody else tired of malnutrition in countries like Sudan? How can we bring an end to corruption and conflict? When will there finally be peace on earth? Are these questions idealistic?
It just seems like that in 2021, we ought to be able to think of a way to end wars, reduce food insecurity, and bring lasting resolution to economic chaos. It has to begin with prayer as our first recourse. As we pray, what’s the one next best step we could take to help those cut off from food, isolated by famine, and desperately tortured by sword? We remember hearing a song, “Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me.” If you were “King for a Day,” what would YOU do about it? Please, please click comment.
Looks like four girls in school uniforms in northern Turkana. The boy on the right may be a shepherd?
The only answer is give them Jesus. P, FI, and C are all Satan’s tools. Jesus is the only lasting hope which needs to be shown them in acts of love. But in many of the areas in Sudan the insecurity and corruption are so much than those receiving aid areat the very least murdered to get the aid. So pray hard that they will hear about Jesus and be given Bibles to read by people from their communities who have left for literacy training and returned to live and read with their communities of the love of God in Christ. Speaking the name of Jesus puts demons to flight. Worshiping with drums renders them powerless. Reading the word of God out load hamstrings them. Loving people in Jesus name causes them to search for the true God.
