There is an amazing website that has a great deal of information about the nations as well as regions and subgroups. They also did a concentrated prayer campaign called Chicago 77 focusing on each neighborhood in the city of Chicago. Just go to prayercast.com. One Way MInistries in Naperville, IL is the sponsoring organization.
Pray the city sends 5 days a week, a three to four sentence prayer from a scriptural passage for your city.
I have found prayercast.com to be a high quality, spiritually refreshing and challenging resource for focused prayer. They provide beautiful video with a prayer narrated by an individual usually from the people group in focus. There is an extended series of prayercasts for Muslim peoples, and another for unreached people groups, as well as many other series. Each video is free to download and to use in your small group or church setting, as well.

Actually, when I made this request it was a specific call to prayer for the USA. It has been edited to be very broad and general for anyplace at any time. I truly believe we should be calling all (US) missionaries to pray for their homeland. We really do need a miracle as in the days of Jehoshaphat!
