One thing (one of many, fact) that we appreciate about Missio Nexus is its commitment to networking and collaboration. It’s not surprising, then, that the newest edition of Evangelical Missions Quarterly (EMQ) has declared the 2020s the “Decade of Collaboration.” Catch it here… https://missionexus.org/emq/emq-archives/emq-volume-56-issue-1/#myaccount

There is another interesting article about the importance of collaboration by Dr. David Gyertson of Regent University (formerly at Asbury and at Taylor, which is where I am on staff). The article, entitled “Called to Collaborate: A Kingdom Perspective” was published in December of 2016 and can be found here: https://www.seedbed.com/called-to-collaborate-a-kingdom-perspective/ .
Also, for those who are technology-focused people in missions, the up-coming Americas conference for the “International Conference on Computing in Mission” (ICCM) also has collaboration as it’s focus for its upcoming conference, to be held June 24-27 in Hannibal, Missouri. The theme will be “Collaborating for the Kingdom” (see https://americas.iccm.org/ ).
Thanks for bringing these to our attention, Carl!
