The folks at Pray4Tunisia.com use 3 overarching verbs in most everything they do. They want their participants to discover a truth from God, obey it, and then share it with others. EVERYTHING goes through that lense. Seems so simple. (Is it really?) If that’s the case, why can’t we change the world?

It does seem really simple. Here are some thoughts I have given to this subject: “Towards a Missiology of Disciple Making Movements” (http://muslimministry.blogspot.com/2015/11/towards-missiology-of-disciple-making.html)
Wow. Great write-up, Warrick. You bring out some good insights/conclusions, without coming across as throwing cold water, yet without coming across as being a cheerleader for DMM. Great, balanced, thoughts.
He’s got a good writeup. DBS/DMM is the sole focus of Beyond, and we’ve seen several movements started (including some with multiple thousands of believers, and some with hundreds of believers in very hard places.)
DBS is very simple. At it’s core, read the Bible story and ask 4 questions of every person in the group:
1. What does this tell you about God
2. What does it tell us about people
3. What is there in this passage to obey, specifically, this week
4. Who will I share this story with this week?
DNA of obedience and sharing built in at the very beginning leads to massive multiplication.
