Are you sure this links to the article you intended? It does not seem at all clear to me that the review favors Amazon’s cloud over Dropbox. It does show Amazon to be cheapest of the paid options, but I don’t see it saying that it is faster or easier, and it doesn’t let you view files from a folder on your computer.
It seems that Dropbox wins for anyone with unreliable internet access, my biggest problem with cloud storage of any type. Most places in the developing world and particularly remote, unreached peoples, are out of reach for consistent access to cloud files. Dropbox-ed files stay on my computer, and have the synced copy available in the cloud accessible to other devices. What about the security of cloud files? are they always encrypted? How easily can governments or hackers get into my cloud files?
