Our organization just did a gathering at Forterocca

We found this Operation Mobilization retreat center to be very affordable and extremely hardworking to serve us. At this time, they don’t have a full-time director, per se, but the inspiriting spirit of volunteerism more than compensates. The setting is idylic, with astounding views of the Italian Alps. (This was the site of the 2006 winter olympics.) Because we outgrew the location (capacity of about 100 people), we overflowed into a Salvation Army-owned property called
Le Casermette.

The manager there, Stefano, became our go-to guy for the entire event, even though we came to his property seeking overflow help. He was extremely diligent and communicative in both English and Italian and has a huge heart for making disciples.

Neither property knows that we’re writing this item and our event is in the past. We’re just one beggar telling another where to find bread.
