But I’m more than a bit perplexed by the apparent intentionally narrow focus. The refugee problem doesn’t seem to be solely a matter of providing reception to those who come from another culture for whatever set of reasons beyond their control.
Who is writing equally cogently about resolving the root problems that provoke the exodus of people from their homelands? Seem to me that if “the bad guys” succeed in driving out their own, then what’s left in those places? And, who cares about that?
