Here’s a CHE course that designed primarily (but not exclusively) for those who will be implementing CHE during a short-term mission trip. (The truth is, many CHE programs have at first been introduced during fairly short-term visits anyway.) The majority of the course is being facilitated by the lead trainer at Medical Ambassadors International — so it’ll be top-notch stuff. But what’s also unique about this particular CHE course is that it is building in a core segment focused on launching Discovery Bible Studies (DBSes) for the purposes of launching a Disciple-making Movement (DMM). Some say this DBS to DMM approach has been sorely missing in the whole CHE paradigm, so the guy often tagged as the originator of the CHE model (Stan Rowland, author of Multiplying Light and Truth) has authored a new study manual on DBS to DMM (using material from our friends at CityTeams — thanks again guys), and we’ll be featuring it on the final day of this CHE course. Participants will not only be trained, but will actually end up LEADING a DBS with guests in 10 break-out rooms in one of the final sessions. Then we’ll debrief and wrap up after those “sample” DBSes. Should be a really fun and helpful training experience. Model-Assist-Watch-Leave. But better register today. It’s Sept. 24-27, hosted by East 91st Street Christian Church. Register at…
