We’re a small office attempting to make a global difference. We don’t feature banner ads nor flashing commercials on our website. Our office’s entire annual budget is less than the starting salary of a single beginning pre-school teacher. We work for free year-round, in hopes that in these final weeks of the calendar, the Brigada family of readers will help pay the bills through a gift, small or large. The average gift size is $100, but some give $25 and occasionally, someone blessed by God will give $2000.
Each year, we tell you exactly what has come in so far: $8129.33 for 2014. We also tell you our entire annual office budget: $17,120. With just $8,990.67 left to raise in just a couple of weeks, we’re asking… are there 89 readers willing to throw in $100 each in these final 14 days of 2014?
