voxoA friend of mine wrote not that long ago to say he was experimenting with …

http://voxofon.com/

He wrote, “I’m using Voxofon.com now…works a lot like Jajah with direct local numbers you can program into your cell phone for international calls. One extra cool feature – when you assign the contact a direct phone number, there is an option for them to have a direct local number to call you. In other words, they can initiate the call from their cell or land line and your account would be charged the few cents a minute the call costs. The return calls don’t work from every country but it’s a great option for those international partners we have that never seem to have minutes available on their phone when we talk.” So — is this service for real and is there a downside?
