We’ve never asked before, because it feels awkward, but … If you have a testimony, a thought, or a word of encouragement, would you please mention it in a comment to the web version of this item? We’re collecting these, in part, to help presenting Brigada to new audiences to expand our capacity to help others reach unreached peoples (so, honestly, we’re trying to get past the awkwardness for the sake of the unreached). Your thoughts don’t have to be long: two or three sentences would be great. Try to write specifically for those who have never heard of Brigada before, with a view to help them understand how Brigada has helped you and those you know. Thanks so much for your help.
If you’d like to help get Brigada out the door and onto screens everywhere around the world, just click “Donate” in the upper right corner, or, mail a check made payable to Team Expansion (Brigada), 13711 Willow Reed Drive, Louisville, KY 40299. I love Brigada! As a former missionary of 20 years in Africa and now serving as an executive with a global mission organization I appreciate the ability to access free, and weekly, cutting edge missional insights, technology tips and networking opportunities. There is so much value added to each edition. Kudos to Doug and crew!
For many years our organization has utilized the information posted through the Brigada network to stay up-to-speed on current missional opportunities and resources. So grateful for your unselfish labor of love that empowers us all! God bless you!
I always open my email from Brigada. There is almost always a nugget in there, something I find useful or encouraging. It might be a link to a song. It might be information about a book. I have worked in missionary care and missions communications roles. Brigada is good stuff. I recommend it. It is useful not only for hardcore missionaries but also for people who are interested in missions and who promote missions. Brigada is not rose-tinted glasses. Brigada is real. Thanks.
Brigada is like a well stocked tool cart and each edition looks at the contents in a different drawer. My tool box is small and I must sometimes make do with the wrong tool. Brigada allows me to reach into their tool cart and restock my box with more appropriate tools for the work I do. It is a restocking refreshing relief.
Thank you
Some years ago, God spoke to me through one of your items that a school needed my help, so I went to meet that need.
I have been a faithful reader of Brigada since the first issue. It helps me stay connected with what world Christians are thinking and doing. It’s like a weekly missions conference hallway chat without leaving my computer.
So, so thankful for Brigada! Thank you for the resources that you continue to send my way. I am a networker, and am seeking to bring encouragement to fellow missionaries and to pastors on the field, so I am often passing on resources that Brigada provides.
