Perhaps you’ve battled it too — bad cases of tangling headsets. I sure have. And I always wondered, “Why in the world do these tangle so badly?” Well finally there’s a quantitative analysis:

Who knew? :-) (Thanks for pointing me to the study, Caleb.)

Now spiritualizing this is going to take an effort. But I know there’s a lesson here somewhere. Here’s what I’ve come up with so far. The basic principle behind these findings is that, the longer the headset, the more likely they are to tangle. So the corollary in the spiritual world is, the more you tackle for God, the more likely it is that you’ll make a mistake. This leads to the follow-up conclusion that we shouldn’t be so down on ourselves if some of the things we take on don’t end up working. Why? Because the more we tackle, the more likely it will be that some of our items “don’t make.”

Have you experienced this kind of principle recently? Or … are you about to? If so, please write a comment following the web release of this items. We’d love to see this principle documented. So — thank you, in advance, for taking time to write some of this down.
