I pray that MORE churches worldwide will take ownership for world evangelism and not leave the task to the 4,000 attendees and mission agencies. That we Christians will WAIT for and RECEIVE POWER from on High to be his witnesses to the ends of the earth – as in the book of Acts.
I pray it be transformational. All our wineskins become brittle over time; and we need times in which together we hear and live anew the life and love of Christ; and become His Body for such a time as this. And the coming together in humility before God shifts our hearts and minds. We become something different that leads us to letting new wineskins take shape.
I pray US leaders both recognize the sprouts of revival and awakening in our midst (partly due to the impact of Christian witness and leadership from other nations) and the shifted place of US Christianity in the world; and can hear and respond according to God’s invitation.
