Our I.T. guy at Team Expansion recently recommended to me MailChimp.com and now I see why. You get up to 500 subscribers for free (more than enough for many missionary-types). If there’s a catch, it’s that you’re only allowed 3000 emails a month… but if you do a weekly prayer-request email to 499 people, you’ll never pass that limit so what’s not to like? Yes there’s an app for iPhone (is anyone else getting tired of hearing that? Makes me want to say, “Yes, there’s a nap for that.” ). MailChimp also provides you with links to social networking sites like Facebook. You can even connect it with shopping carts to sell books and services. All in all, it’s a great choice for Brigada participants because it’s highly effective and it’s *free*. (Thanks Greg!)
